Platinum #3776 Fuji Unkei Kasumi Fountain Pen
The Platinum #3776 Kasumi is the second model in the Fuji Unkei series created to express an image of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding clouds through a range of decorative methods.
The Kasumi represents the rich natural greenery that can be seen at the foot of Mt. Fuji through the mist, with the cap and section finished in a rich green. The barrel is carved to reproduce the Kasumi-Mon (Kasumi pattern) seen on picture scrolls and folding screen prints. The appearance of waving mist is recreated through small circular cuts creating a continuous, yet irregular pattern.
