Jacques Herbin 1670 Anniversary Ink Emeraude de Chivor 50ml
J. Herbin is said to have kept an emerald in his pocket during his voyages as a good luck charm. These precious gemstones have been treasured for centuries as protective talismans. One of the purest emerald deposits in the world, the Chivor mine was discovered in the middle of the 16th century by Spanish conquistadors.
This beautiful emerald green blue ink contains a red sheen with gold flecks throughout, enhancing your writing with an elegance and beauty that is unmatched by other inks.
The 1670 line was originally launched to celebrate J. Herbin's 340th anniversary. Each 50ml bottle is hand dipped in sealing wax with a stamped “1670” seal on the front and individually packaged in a collector edition box. This rich deep dye ink will bring brightness and majesty to all your writing! It is a highly saturated ink with a gold sheen achieved by a fine pigment that is quite visible in the bottle and requires the bottle to be shaken well before filling your pen. Best results are achieved on good quality ink-resistant papers if you want to see the gold sparkle!
The 1670 Inks are now packaged in the same bottle as the 1798, re-engineered for easier filling from your favourite fountain pens.
