The Pelikan M805 is a grand pen, elaborately striped celluloid acetate in anthracite this pen an eye catcher. The anthracite celluloid is matched with palladium plated trim.
The nib of the M805 is made of 18 carat/750 gold, with Rhodium plating. The nib is hand tested to ensure writing quality and provides a wet line.

The Stresemann is named in honours of Gustav Stresemann (1879-1929), the foreign minister of the Weimar Republic. Alongside his colleague Aristide Briand he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 1926 for his reconciliatory work between nations after World War I. In addition to his political career Stresemann also created a suit, sufficiently formal for official duties, yet comfortable enough for work at the office. His suits were worn with thin stripes, giving rise to thin stripes of the Stresemann M805.
