The first recorded usage of copper dates to back to 9000 BC in the Middle East, making it known to some of the oldest civilisations on record. Copper also lends is name to the lesser known Copper Age, predating the Bronze Age when it was discovered that adding tin to copper could lead to bronze. A freshly exposed surface of pure copper has a reddish-orange hue. Copper is part of the mineral turquoise, an opaque blue to green mineral. Organics Studio Copper Turquoise brings this to life with a beautiful light blue ink with subtle red sheen.
