P.W. Akkerman #11 Trêves-Turquoise 60ml
The Akkerman "baby long neck" bottles have a capacity of approximately 60 ml. The faceted ink bottle is characterized by a long neck containing a glass marble.
Akkerman fountain pen inks are suitable for any type of fountain pen and have been given names from the Hague
By tilting the unique (closed) ink bottle, the neck fills with ink. Tip it upright again and the marble falls back in place, preventing the ink from flowing back. This creates a reservoir of ink from which the fountain pen can easily be filled, even when the bottle is almost empty.
The Trêves room is a historic meeting room from 1697 and is considered the most beautiful room in the Binnenhof, taking its name from the French word armistice: Trêves room, every Friday the meetings of the Council of Ministers take place here at a long table where the Prime Minister is in the middle. Trêveszaal turquoise is a beautiful colour between blue and green and stands for refreshment, reliability and effectiveness.
