Noodler's are available with several unique properties; Eternal (archival, fade-resistant), Forgery-Resistant (impervious to lasers, alcohols, solvents), and Waterproof. 

Noodler's Baystate Blue is a permanent ink that is Eternal, Forgery-Resistant and Waterproof. The Baystate series has a slightly different formulation than other Noodler's Inks, with a higher PH. As such, it may react with non Baystate series inks so please ensure pens are thoroughly cleaned before and after use. It is also recommended that this ink is not left to sit for extended periods in the pen as it may lead to staining. Best avoided in pens that are particularly rare, or valuable to you.
